Counselling and Psychotherapy in my consultancy close to Hampstead Heath provides you with a supportive space to explore issues that affect your quality of life in a space just for you. Both Counselling and Psychotherapy can support you to make sense of your life in a way that leads to renewed hope and increase resilience. It can offer support during difficult times.

The aim of therapy is always an improved quality of life and relationships. It is as much about celebrating your strengths and fulfilling your aspirations as well as working through difficult experiences. Counselling can range from a few sessions to several months whilst Psychotherapy takes place over a longer period. Psychotherapy offers space for deeper reflection simply because it takes place over a longer period. In the early stages of therapy sessions usually takes place on a weekly basis and later some people feel the need to come less often.

Counselling and Psychotherapy always takes place at a pace that provides stability for you and how often you come is determined by what's most helpful. We can explore what pace of therapy is best for you. Then this regularity can change as you do. Everyone is different so you decide what feels right. for you.

I offer therapy sessions securely online using the Zoom platform for anyone who's schedule or location doesn't allow for in person sessions. I also run in person clinics at Highgate Consultings Room West Hill House, London N6 6QS.

When you first come to see me I assess your needs and adapt your therapy according to your individual needs. As a therapist I can provide you with a space to deepen your understanding of yourself and simply reconnect.

Your first Counselling or Psychotherapy consultation is free of charge. This offers a space to explore what you need from therapy and to see if it's right for you.

As a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor I have 25 years post graduate experience in private practice and work with clients who have experienced stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement and relationship difficulties.

I provide treatment for Doctors and healthcare professionals in my private practice in Hampstead and at Practitioner Health - PH - an NHS service that provides a safe haven and confidential treatment for Doctors and Dentists. The Doctors I provide treatment for in my Psychotherapy practice have experienced a wide range of stress related issues including anxiety and depression.

But you don't have to be healthcare professional to benefit from Counselling and Psychotherapy in my practice! Please feel free to contact me. Everyone can benefit from Counselling or Psychotherapy as a supportive resource in their lives.

Just having a stable space in the background of your life can support you through difficult times whilst learning new ways to recover your resilience. This is especially true during these uncertain times as Covid emerged in the world.

As a supervisor for counsellors, psychotherapists and trainees I provide clinical supervision within a relational framework and supervise across orientations including Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Transpersonal models

My inspiration have been the women and men whom I have been privileged to work with over the years. Including many healthcare professionals - doctors, psychiatrists and nurses - who have withstood immense pressures in their chosen crafts often at great cost to themselves. It takes courage to access support in a system that expects you never to need it. As a Psychotherapist and Counsellor supporting women to heal has been a lifelong thread of inspiration throughout my career. I have been equally privileged to work with many courageous men in my practice. Many of whom have survived debilitating judgements where vulnerability is viewed as weakness rather than honouring it as an essential part of being a human being.
